Warning: This is disgusting. Really.

This is one of those things that I really hate to pass on; however, I definitely want to protect my kids and grandchildren against this type of downright meaness and thoughtless, unsanitary actions and am sure you feel the same way about your families.  These employees have evidently been fired, but this video provides information enough to convince me to never eat in a restaurant in which you can't watch the food preparation.  This IS disgusting!  Really.

Hi Sher, The video says it's no longer available because of a copyright claim by Kristi Hammonds. I can imagine all kinds of things that could have happened with the preparation...and can tell you that horrible, sickening things happen in almost every restaurant in the world! If you can't see the food every minute...you really don't want to know what some of those workers do to it before they get it to you. Pulling through a drive through window for a soft drink or ice cream...a quick bite. Most of the time, what's going on is hidden from the customer in the car. Salad bars?...not only the employees but the customers will make you cringe eating from those. Foods from a deli or from a bakery...the cakes, pies, breads from Wal Mart and grocery store bakeries and delis too. My friend...you should do what I do...eat where you're friends with the owner and the cook or eat at home.
Blessings, Susie

Hi there, Susie! The president of Domino's has been very quick in issuing a statement (on YouTube) letting us know that the restaurant in the video has been shut down and is being completely sanitized; also, that the employees involved have been fired and that felony warrants have been issued for them. (Yes, it was THAT bad!) You're right - the salad bars can be really filthy, with people sneezing and coughing, not washing their hands, etc. We pretty much do what you suggested. I mostly cook at home and rarely buy premade foods. Great advice!

Sher

Hi Sher ~ I saw this on the news last night, but missed the whole thing. Do I dare ask what they did?

Oh yes, I saw this on the news the other day. Really disgusting! Makes you wonder what goes on in all food places! You never know!

I can't see the video either, but can only imagine. Fortunately, we don't eat in fast food restaurants for health reasons. It must have been awful to get this reaction from so many people!
Thanks for warning us.

O Sher I couldn't even watch it as I know how terrible people can be-
just thinking about what it might be makes you want to stay home!!! Actually we don't go out much as we are pretty much home bodies after a day of work!
